FS: Kwik Way SVS II

Needs chuck replaced. New belts and spindle bearings, new chuck slider plate. Collet chuck conversion included also. Bought a center less valve grinder when this one would not meet my requirements. $2,000 cash.

Re: Depac tach signal generator

Norm,

The one I have on my dyno is a four wire, but it only uses two of the wires.

Re: Depac tach signal generator

I think it is a stepper motor. Try a google search for rotary pulse generator or stepper motor. Might want to include 5 mm shaft to narrow down the results.

Re: Depac tach signal generator

Okay. That is the 50 Hz encoder. Let me see what I can dig up for you.

Re: Depac tach signal generator

NormS,

Are you referring to the encoder on the water brake or the electronic tach itself? Also, do you know if yours is 50 Hz (SuperFlow) or 60 Hz (Stuska)? I may have the Hz/brake manufacturer mixed up as I am going from memory and don't have access to notes at the moment.

WTB - Fel Pro 1255 Intake Gaskets

Looking for a set of Fel Pro 1255 Intake Gaskets. These are the thick gaskets for use on SBC vortec applications with a carbureted intake manifold. None of my usual sources have any and they tell me they are on a national backorder with no known delivery date. Private Message me here or contact me b...

Re: Closing up shop

I did not purchase through eBay, so no help there. My bank is working on it through my commercial account. For now, I will let them do their job. If it does not go in my favor, I will pursue other options.

Thanks for the offer to contact him. I will let you know if that becomes necessary.

Re: Closing up shop

I have been trying to give time to allow this individual to make things right. I doubt that will happen. Long story short, I made arrangements to purchase two pair of new cylinder heads plus shipping. Attempted payment through PayPal. Kept having issues with purchasing item/service so he encouraged ...

Re: Tech Rules For The 2020 REC Dyno Contest

In my OPINION, the cylinder head rules as written are still not clear as to whether the port entries can be filled / raised / widened, which I know ended up being a point of debate after last year's competition: Welding/epoxy/porting within ports permitted. Ports must remain in their original as ca...

Re: Block choice for SB2 heads

I was looking used initially, then aftermarket when I couldn't find a decent used block close enough to put my hands on before purchase. All the suppliers I've spoken with don't have any SB2.2 blocks and don't have a run date to produce any.

Re: Block choice for SB2 heads

Thanks Charlie.

These are SB2.2 heads, by the way. I have a habit of calling this design SB2.

Block choice for SB2 heads

I have a set of SB2 heads that I am trying to figure out which block to go with. I’ve been trying to find a block with the lifter bores specific to the SB2 configuration with little luck. I was told that the raised cam blocks eliminate the need for the offset lifter bores. This is my first venture i...
