Re: Data recorder equipment
I ran a Computech system in my S-10 and really liked it. Mine was a fresh build, so I spent the extra and went with the LCD dash. It was cheaper than buying individual gauges. I received excellent customer service from them, even calling the cell number of the guy on the weekend while I was at the t...

Re: Mystery
From your post it sounds like with it now picking the front end up more than in the past. Also stating that when up in the air it feels like it loses power until it comes back down. I'd look the carb over as a starting point. Float levels, fuel slosh, jet extensions, etc... It sure sounds like the f...

Re: Mystery
What do you mean by freshened up the engine and converter?
Any changes made to either?
What were the MPH readings on those passes... compared to prior passes?
How much does the car/truck weigh?
What engine? carb or injected?
Do you document the weather?

Very nice!
I love your attention to detail. I also love the "dare to be different" drive-train choice.
You can truly say that you have a one of a kind car. Impressive.

Re: 2 Questions - 2 Different Cars
As others have posted... always measure right height at the chassis, never the body. Did you measure it with driver in place and full of fluids... ready to race? Depending on that, you might be seeing a much different ride height? Also, as someone else posted... have you measured your front ride hei...

Re: speaking of SBC blocks
I just got off the phone with tech at Dart. They are getting close to having the new version of the Little M block. He said they should be available for shipping within the next 2 months? The version available is the Little M block with billet main caps only. The cam tunnel is raised .391", an...

Re: Intake manifold question
Thanks guys. I wasn't sure if there was as much difference between a manifold only flowing air compared to one moving both fuel and air. I'm currently running a Holley 300-110 intake. A friend has a Super Victor that is already setup for running a toilet that is for sale. I was just curious if it wo...

Intake manifold question
I've searched, and couldn't find anything. How important is intake manifold design when it comes to running a Ron's Toilet system? Considering the intake is only flowing air instead of an air/fuel mixture. Does porting an intake make more power than just going with a different intake with a larger i...

Re: 1990 chevy 1500 No Tail lights.
Most trucks have a harness at the rear that plugs into a harness that runs from the front to the back. Check for where the harness plugs in at the rear. Unplug it and test again for power at the connector. Could be unplugged, could have bad connection, could be unplugged further up front. I'm not fa...
