Re: Protected Coyotes in California

Fwiw, feral hogs are in south MO tearing up everything! They have come up from the south.

And armadillos are as far north as Monroe City, MO! If not farther north now?

Re: Notice To Veterans

Better buy a couple more SKS's or AK-47's and spam cans of ammo for future protection of you and your loved ones AND before THEY figure out how to stop us.

I kinda figured they had computer management issues and were covering it up. Watched a documentary on military plane crashes following implement...

Re: predicting cranking compression

Very interesting thread, but I am more interested in dynamic compression ratio, (DCR), than static compression ratio, (SCR). If not mistaken, it is a better predictor of fuel detonation. And rod length does enter in here, but not to a great extent. Please correct me if I am wrong. And not meaning to...

Re: Mr Fueling.

Did the Quad-4 ever used in production vehicles?

Or was it just a one-off race engine?

Re: Protected Coyotes in California

Back to birds being killed!

How many chickens are slaughtered each year that we eat??

As well as turkeys around the holidays?

I do know that back when we lived on a farm, I have rung many chicken necks and then plucked them for Mom to cook for Sunday dinner.

Umm, Umm, GOOD!!

Re: Mr Fueling.

https://www.feulingparts.com/aboutus 1200+ horsepower from a Quad 4 is impressive. Seems like whoever is running the company now emphasizes HD motorcycle parts. Guy died of pancreatic cancer at 57. Hell of a way to have to go. Thanks Chris for posting the link. I tried for some time to find the tru...

Re: "Masters Of Motors" class rules released

GM management issued a 1964 edict that intermediate car Engines must not exceed 330 CID. The 336 Engine in the 1963 Tempest was originally a de bored Pontiac 370 used in GMC trucks. Pontiac needed a quick fix V8 for the 1963 Tempest as the Aluminum Buick V8 Engine was costly. The 336 filled this ne...

Re: Protected Coyotes in California

Predation by domestic cats is the number-one direct, human-caused threat to birds in the United States and Canada. In the United States alone, outdoor cats kill approximately 2.4 billion birds every year. Although this number may seem unbelievable, it represents the combined impact of tens of milli...
