Ok, I am not allowed to say what it is. They are running .003 clearance and 90psi. I really feel that is to little clearance and not enough pressure. Engineers say that is enough but we keep having failures.

Ok guys a 12cyl. diesel engine with a 10.236in main journal turning 950rpm max 18-1 compression making 4500hp.
What would you run for clearance & what kind of oil pressure?

Really you think billet pistons are trick, teams have been running them for at least 10yrs. now.
Roger's a business man, in 2014 the team pulled in $108mil in 2015 it pulled in $140mil.

the team owner don't care as it is not his money it is the sponsors money. the problem is when the sponsors cut back. Penske said a couple years ago that the cup teams are running on $10 million a season less than they used to. the sponsors see the empty stands and the lower TV ratings so they are ...
