They found the solution to people willingly giving up their freedoms, conveyance & tech. There was a discussion bout kids growing up with phones, basically they are being groomed to rely on something/someone to always tell them what to do.

Re: Where in the US?

Just to give you an idea of what is happening: the EU mandated a GPS and camera system on cars from 2022 onwards which enforces the speed limits on the driver. If you go over one speed limit it's registred on a black box and you get an ever increasing annoying 'beep'. Well that sucks. There may be ...

As ask by another, ditto what brands?

Re: EFI Fuel Pressure Drop ~5psi

I got a summit one that has a large housing(bout 6") but tiny inside filter and I'm gonna return it. Even the cheap ebay brand prefilter I got for my budget beater truck has a larger element.

Also if it does it free revving, have someone test the voltage at the pump while

Re: externally balanced 89 Chevy flywheel interchangeability

It's about a used but good 1989 corvette engine long block which someone has here (unfortunately I bought the heads to refurbish my replacement engine already, but ok). I read in some places the intake bolt pattern may be different on these (TPI-engine). Is that correct. If so, I still may the cast...

Re: externally balanced 89 Chevy flywheel interchangeability

Not sure if it is true or not, but have always been lead to believe the 87-96 corvettes were balanced to a slightly better standard from the factory. Makes sense when the few flexplates i have seen from them had additional holes drilled in them and they were removed from 100% stock c4 corvettes. Wh...

Re: Ported Chevy 083 heads, the tpi project

If one could get around 380hp out of a TPI 350 with mildly ported 113 heads in an endurance racing situation it would be great. Not gonna happen methinks. From what I saw on a Holdener vid where he tested a L98 with TPI and then with a carb it does seem the long block may be a good starting point h...

Re: Ported Chevy 083 heads, the tpi project

TPI just has too much working against it, runner length, plenum volume and the 180 turn with round tubes, the air gets in it's own way. I still want to mess with my own some more in the future and port another stock plenum to see if I can improve it a tad but it's the 180 runners I believe that are ...

Re: Titanium Retainer Question

Inexpensive Ti is considerably softer than steel and will often times he grabbier (if that is even a word) than steel. What you will notice is that with stable valve train the spring will make indentations in the retainer. On the flip side if unstable it will start to tear up the surface contacting...

Yup most were commuting to work, so unless it's for mostly long trips and not more often just short trips.

Re: Titanium Retainer Question

I'm well aware of the info that's out there and expected someone to try n scare me off from their use, as is common with post about them. BUT there are those who have posted on other forums 30-40k w/o issue on mild combo's.
