Re: Well if this doesn't beat all
Impressive numbers for the combination. What we’re the cam specs, if you don’t mind since you said it was a shelf Erson HR grind.

Re: Well if this doesn't beat all
I know I would be very interested in seeing the Bigchief632 combo (cam specs) and dyno details.

Re: 120 seat pressure on SBC cam already used
Thanks for the help, all. I can easily set it up at 1.80 and sleep better at night. I’ll bring up the pressure when, or if, we go more aggressive later. I truly appreciate the ST community.

Re: 120 seat pressure on SBC cam already used
Correction. The springs are 115 lbs presently installed at 1.77”, and 347 at 1.20 with coil bind at 1.10. I could go back to 1.80 installed height and be at 105 lbs. No rust or anything weird looking on the cam or lifters. Engine ran fine, but my (at the time) high school son got stupid and I took t...

Same block, same cam & lifters (all in order), same rotating assembly, etc. Same Vortec heads but upgraded to allow for more spring pressure and lift with a better valve job. All new main and rod bearings. Fresh hone on cylinders and new rings. I did have the block deck and head deck surface cut...

120 seat pressure on SBC cam already used
Built a mild 383 years ago with Vortec heads and stock valve springs (70 lbs) and a slow ramp CC high energy 268 .450 lift hydraulic flat tappet cam. Engine sat for 15 years and now we refreshed everything but same cam & lifters and plan to run 120 lbs of valve spring seat pressure. I’ll still l...

Re: ATK Aluminum SBC Cylinder Heads
I would give them a call. It was about 16-18 months ago. Maybe they switched back to Pro-Filer.

Re: ATK Aluminum SBC Cylinder Heads
The ATK heads were Pro-Filers, but ATK changed sources and went to Dart. I have no idea whether the flow specs are still the same. Buyer beware.
