No there different, valve angle is 23 degrees rocker stud is real close to 11.5 just not sure what Chevrolet drawings say?

Does any one Know the factory published angle for the rocker stud in relation to the deck surface?
I believe its 11.5 but not 100% sure.

Do you have to use a deck plate when honing the 5.9 ?,or if not using one, should I add additional clearance beyond the recommended amount?

one of the piston oilers was plugged and the piston and cylinder wall got scored up pretty good

Can any one recommend what stones to use when honing the 5.9, also amounts removed with each grit stone?

Check to make sure the thrust surface on the crank is 90 degrees from the bearing surface if it is touching at the top first where the oil enters no amount of polishing or fancy oil slots will help.
