ok , huge experience here, one of my guys a master tech here, unless you have unlimited money , a service will never be under 400e more like 900-1200, i told a pretty big farmer to off load one as it would cost over 6k in the nest 8 or so months , didn't listen , it done 9k in 9 months and no its no...

I have what acl call std , which has some clearance built in and have built this with some thigter ones to get clearance under 2 thou , so on a journal measure in 3 places i have .0016 .0009 .0015 .0022 .0011 .0020 .0017 .0009 .0010 you get the idea , but i have contact ? when opened , no rods, just...

no its dial bore gauge and checked with plastic , the crank [ ill check again ] the block is new to the build but used , the crank came out of the car and all bearings were nice in the original block , id more so say it the block

Hi So I always try and keep the mains fairly tight under 2 thou and the factory calls for well under that , I can get anybody to hone the mains , all measures up fine and checked with plastic gauge , so clamped up feel a little tight in places , open it up and see for yourselves , I can loosen 4C2A8...

Just a quick one from what i have seen on different generations of 1 engine as the years went on the bhp was higher but so too was the rpm , the newer had way smaller intake valves and ports , it goes completely against general thoughts , head gaskets / skim heads play around as it advances/ retards...

I often wondered how to price , say an engine , and if you were successful to completely demolish the competition by producing 10-15 bhp or 40 more than anyone [ and proven track performance ] how should this be priced , to reflect development , so if you sell out slightly above the rest , soon they...

No matter what you do there will be better paying jobs , will there be money out of it , depends , if you find power where others missed and marketing , but what i advise younger guys , never work at you hobby / or interests , as you will never charge enough as you will never count the extra time to...

look at 4 piston racing there young enough guys considering and making it pay , developing ports and then cnc their work ,
but long term , sorry it will be gone , look at the billet blocks and some billet heads , now look at 3d printing they will print from scratch a99.9% perfect parts

sorry to correct , but they don not need the chamber to be rich to have the plug at stoich , in fact they are able to have the total outter section in near full exhaust gasses with the used or egr , which includes running it through the vvt , so in the case of mitsubishi , where the total ratio is 5...

and i would have thought the same until i read a f1 article where they had to bring in a rule of max fuel temp as all the guys were deliberatly seriously heating the fuel and i know its not methanol
