Re: Hemi vs Chevy wager...

I have that basic combo. Stock 454 , vs 78/75 turbos, 210 injectors , ms3 ultimate. I am using 781 heads . Mine is running now but I haven't made in power pulls. 4 digit power I think is reasonable but I am not sure about 1300 to get to the number you are describing . Mike What fuel are you plannin...

Re: Blow Thru Carbs

just remember 15 psi is only a number that has value in reference to 5 psi or 10 psi on one set of engine components. 15 psi on a pair of old heads with old cam technology is not comparable to 15 psi on modern heads with a modern designed cam with a modern compressor wheel , the same as modern parts...

Re: piston ring choice. sbc

This is using some old 2256 pistons and I am just a little concerned that the owner of the car may run into a situation of bad gas and heavy foot. I had the engine together for a while on some cast pistons and plain rings and I had no failure but while it is apart this time I was thinking about a sm...

piston ring choice. sbc

Is there a piston ring set available for a mild turbocharged sbc 355 in 5/64 that is less than hellfires and you don't have worry about moly flaking off if there is mild detonation?
