Re: Covid 19
I went in for a sinus infection . My first clue was I could not smell or taste. After my sinuses burning for a few days I am bored at home quarantined. This i believe you can get more than once. It was a year ago January I was sick with similar symptoms plus a dry cough and the shits. Then covid was...

Re: Porting, Using a Mill
I would consider that to be “pre-porting” machining. Now the hard part starts. Yep ... I use a mill for getting the pushrod wall straight at the thickness I want. I agree. Not a bad thing to do. But the beginning of the beginning. I'm getting older and lazy, so anything to help. I have some I do th...

Re: Pulley run out?
Exactly. I never knew they would even worry long before .0025 off on a pully. I see a lot of new cars where there is a few thousands of pully off center vibrating the belt without being obvious even revving it. I say that perfect .. send it!

Re: Weight BBC V's SBC
SBC with nitrous. I would lean toward the Turbocharged sbc for reliability, especially if one can afford an aftermarket block. Nitrous is hard on stuff. People get scared of forced induction on a daily when they need to be afraid of nitrous. Sorry if I offended anyone on the laughing gas. At least ...

Re: SpeedTalk for Sale
Still too early for me to collect all my thoughts from some pretty serious brain surgery here but I hear that Mike Jones might be taking over speed talk. Mike, I am remembering all those times when you helped out on my projects for which I am very grateful. This looks like a time when I can repay y...

Re: If you have ever bought smething because of Speedtalk, let me know
Have you purchased something, directly from someone on SpeedTalk? Were made aware of a company, product or service, because of Speedtalk? If so, purchased that product or service ? Two camshafts from you. Almost two more but things got busy at my end.. Speedtalk hooked me up. I recommend this forum.

F-bird, why don't you just come out and say your are jealous of Americans? You make cracks on here all the time about our laws and politics...what does it matter to you? Honestly, I could care less about what Canada laws or political agendas are. So my advice to you is post your riff in the politic...

I am glad that your patience and determination has helped your family. That has more and more become a rare quality. =D> =D> =D> Thanks Kevin. Life has its ways. I have seen people hold on to jobs or careers over their marriage and in the end I really dont want to go through another divorce. I have...

AOC prefers to drive an SUV as she suggest everyone else take a train like in some poor socialist countryDave Koehler wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 8:31 pm I was hoping someone would mention that neither Bern or AOC are out campaigning in electric vehicles.
I wish one of the press would ask that question.

Back after time away.
I had time away... and peeped in here a couple of times but not enough to remember my password apparently lol. I got married (again) and got my wife finally into the US after last summer after 3 trips to Asia to be with her. And been busy with work. Very busy. My son has cerebral palsy, and I been b...

Re: In Memory of Don Terrill
I have been away from things for a year. Or more. This is a shock of news to me. Did not correspond with him much, but have a book and have a bunch of info off this site from knowing minds. I have other things going on so I been away from my cars and taking care of my son and working 6-7 days a week...
