Hi. I stopped using stud- mounted rockers 10 years ago. Yes, I’m aware of the offset lifter dilemma. However, with 50? 1/4- mile races a year, I do not expect it to cause any trouble, even in an aluminum block.
I already tried centered lifters. Tore my rockers off their bearings…

Re: Anyone been able to reach Isky Cams lately?
Hi. I’ve contaded them by email and on their facebook-page 3 times for about 6 and 3 months ago, without any reply. Asked for help with a part number.
In the end I figure it out, but I still invested my cash in Jesel- parts instead.

Figured the left/ right- matter. Look at the lifter with link bar away from you. Comp catalogue...
Makes right intaker for Fords, so the "Yates" lifters for SBF should be the correct part for what I'm doing. As far as I understand.

Re: SBF ISKY offset solid lifters; part number!
HI! I had no luck getting feedback from Isky by mail or on their Facebook- page.... If anyone has any information on my question, I appreciate it... BTW: Might be easier to answer. Speaking of a lifter- what does right or left offset imply? I mean; it all depends if you see the lifters from the cent...

Re: SBF ISKY offset solid lifters; part number!
Thank you. I have written off the BAM lifters as their body dia is less than 0.874". I do not have data on the ISKY lifters, so it's bit of a gamble.....

SBF ISKY offset solid lifters; part number!
Ho, Ho Ho.... No, Santa don't have anything for me this year, so I'll have to come up with some laternative solutions. Have been waiting since september for a set of Morel lifters, but delivery is not even comfirmed yet. This is for stock lifter bores in a 302 Ford- block. I need the intakes offset ...

Re: Double headgaskets?
Thank you all for insights. Yes, 2 gaskets probably not enough, I’d need 3, actually. I think the Cometics ar 0.14’’ So…. either I’ll find someone who can make a shim, or I’ll change rhe pistons. My only options, I suppose. However…. The sandwich principle- two stock gaskets and a Cometic steel inbe...

Double headgaskets?
Hello. A solution I never used before, so I just want to know if it's usually OK to use two headgaskets stacked. Some say there will be sealing problems between the gaskets. Regular headgaskets w/ steel fire-rings, composite. Maybe sealant around water ports between gaskets? Background is a shortblo...

Re: Summit racing budget 350/400 blocks.
Our block castings are dual sourced in the US and a European foundry. Both are OE suppliers to folks like Ford and GM. We bring raw castings and fully machine in house. Norris Marshall, CEO, Blueprint Engines Can I ask why your website for Blueprint engines does not list blocks in the component men...

Thank you for stopping by, Norris.
There were some rumours of a smallblock Ford 8.2 deck engineblock manufactured by Blueprint, too. Did that ever happen?

Re: CAT RACING/ Crankshaft Depot Ebay- parts
What? No- you arr completely mistaken. My current lifters are 0.741’’ and they are no longer made. Current lifters are sub 074. Although they are listed as… 0.75 or 0.74. Very hard to get the bores bored, very fee places to turn. Trust me… And if I do, I’ll move to an ezpensive lifter. Won’t happen ...

CAT RACING/ Crankshaft Depot Ebay- parts
Yo; hello! In my desperation to find a new set of offset solid roller lifters for SBF 302, I found the Cat racing brand on Ebay. I am 100% sure these are chinese. However; I won't call them off as junk before I've asked you lot..... Anyone have any information on these parts/company? And if you read...

I will use only a few things from them ... nothing with moving parts.
But you never know, everyone can change into something better- or worse.

Re: Need a new compression tester
I couldn’t get the valve out. Don’t know it it’s threaded or not, it didn’t move. That’s the collar whit the release- button on the end. Can I get the valve out from indide the housing? Sure don’t think theres ensough room, but maybe?
