Chad, did you possibly leave out a zero on that price? :)

I would be way more concerned with lifter diameter, surprised Bullet didn't push for at least .904's

Re: titanium valve margin

Thanks for the advice, I knew running them too thin would hurt flow, wasn't sure where the line was. Much appreciated!

Re: SS Braided Line

Earl's makes an insert spring to put in the line to keep it from collapsing when bending a tight radius. Looks kinda hokie but it works, used it many times on my dry sump system.

titanium valve margin

At what margin width should I consider replacing titanium valves? When new from Del West they were at .075", just wondering what you all consider to be the minimum safe width. Also, thoughts on whether to spring for the chromium nitrade coating when I do replace them.

Weiss dry sump pump parts

Does anyone have a source to buy parts for the old-style Weiss oil pumps? Specifically looking for pulleys (39 and 40 tooth) and fittings. Currently using 8 mm HTD stuff and would like to stick with that as I have two engines set up with them. I have heard that the Auto Verdi pumps use the same pull...

Re: Rocker Arms: Steel vs Aluminium

Jesel told me that one major cause of failed aluminum rocker arms is over-torquing the adjuster. They highly recommend using an LSM torque wrench.

Re: 150 mph in 1/4

Part of it will depend on body style and windshield angle, our '60's brick runs 5.40's 1/8 mile but only picks up 27 in the back half at 3000 lbs

Goodson valve spring tester

Does anyone here have experience with the Goodson VST 60G valve spring tester? Would like to have a Rimac, but as a hobbyist I have a hard time justifying one. Thanks, Don

another cam ID

I have a flat tappet SBF camshaft with the following numbers on the back journal face: 112822 271350 270935. This is from the old hobby stock car days, so thinking it was a hydraulic grind. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have used them for years now with no issues, if anything they seem to slip through the compressor easier. You will love the seal!

Re: Ring Pack Thickness: Question

Several years ago I had a discussion with Alan Patterson about ring thickness. I mentioned that we had picked up ~35 hp by switching from 0.042 to a 0.036 ring and he shared that going thinner would yield even larger gains. I don't recall the exact thickness he mentioned, thinking it was somewhere a...
