Re: Dodge Demon VS Corvette ZR1
But how do you hook it all up on the street? Have a buddy with a twin turbo 2016 Mustang 5.0 that is supposed to be around 900-1000 at the flywheel and it blows the big tires off at any speed. on the street. Automatic car too! He's a bit scared of it to run it on the strip. The only place I could h...

Re: Silverado, low fuel pressure?
The guy above is correct that it will set lean codes long before it will misfire from being to lean. So what you are saying is PO300 is related to ignition issues or a mechanical problem more than actual fuel issues? I know how modern engine management works..but I'm from the thinking that if the e...

Re: Silverado, low fuel pressure?
No thats not low enough to cause a misfire. Use a scan tool capable of telling you which cylinder is misfiring as its happening then go from there. Your way off man it is p0300 meaning multiple, not a p0302,304 etc etc. pressure is low enough for sure to cause"multiple" What do you think ...

Re: Piston ring install lube
WD-40 has no lubricating (high pressure/extreme pressure) features whatsoever and should not be used as such. The product name refers to "Water Displacing formula #40" which is the name given to it by the NASA engineers who developed it. It works quite well as a surface protector/rust inh...

I agree on the fact that you bought and economy unit. Dont expect much from it.

Mine was 12k with a 60inch deck. It has 830 hours on it and hasn't ever missed a beat.

Re: I was thinking about using E85 or alcohol,BUT
Im in MN and e85 is a no brainer for me. $1.65 currently and even in winter it's still 80% ethanol. Its makes more power, runs a tad cooler and the throttle response is MUCH better.

Re: Large port vortecs
We've made nearly 500hp with small port vortec bowties and a 2bbl carb.
I think 600 would be possible with large port vortecs and a 4bbl.
