Thinking of chassis dynoing a oval track car..400 HP at crank....is there a difference in final HP between a 3 speed Saginaw and a 4 speed muncie ?? Thanks

The black header has been on the car for 5 years now..the car bounced off the wall a few times so l guess this is why the pipes went egg shape at the tight bend...so yes it is restricted there like you said....l feel the silver header would flow better where it transitions into the X pipe too.

We run a sb ford with 390 HP with a 2 barrel carb..we run the schoenfeld header the runs up by the valve car but it has a very tight bend on the drivers side of the motor...we found this other header that has a much smoother flow ..how much HP do you think the.motor will.pick up ?? We have to.modify...

Is the autotec the lower priced piston then ? I found one with the correct cc dish I in it on page 45 l believe in catalog..

I talked to race talk.. they said the lower grade material will be good to 6800 rpm..

A piston with 1.60 C H with a dish around 21 CC....the block is 030. now. It has Diamond piston in it now... it has over 2000 laps on it now in a oval track car...if l went a little bigger can a machine shop just hone it out to fit new piston ?
