Re: VP Q16 eating rubber? Shelf life?
WE have ran q16 and c14+ inthe past in the same engine and fuel system. The q16 on this particular engine made huge improvements. We also had more issues with the c14+ gumming up accel pumps etc than we had with the q16.

Re: BLP CARB SHOOTOUT Your input please !
If a guy builds the best carb in history but no one knows about it then does anyone care? I as a consumer am not interested in competitions that I only have access to sensored information. Good luck! Is reading not your strong point? I believe the winners were announced in each category... S...

Re: What does timing retard 10-12 deg @ 5,000 RPM's ?
We had the same thing. It is in the dissy. We went through 5 of them before we found one that only retarded a couple of degrees. The we put a crank trigger on it and the retard was basically gone.

Re: 406 vs vortech supercharger
If your taking the boost pressure right below the carb you make be getting a false reading. The velocity going past the port you drilled for the guage may lower the pressure seen at that port. Put a temp guage before the carb in the hat and one directly in the intake then you can see the how much bo...

Re: Exhaust Port Plates
The ex port plates that I have seen for the 351 engine require milling of the head to use and do indeed give a major increase in the ex flow of the 351 c heads. If you put them on your header probably won't clear your shock towers. That is my .02

Re: tell me why
I can tell you that a good web site is a must theses days if you are wanting to sell to general public. Being to far away from anything I use the internet to do alot of research. The more information on a website the inclined I am to put them on the short list when researching a purchase.

Re: Catastophe in the making
How many of us are playing along already. My wife has been telling me that I need to relax more and not be stressed out about all the things that seem to stress me, like the inability of the governement to run the country and the corruption that goes all the way down to the local politicians. I tell...

WOW!!! I'm gonna be rich! Of the thousands of vehicles sold by GM, How many of the customers that do not consent will have therer information sold. A good lawyer will take GM to the cleaners as soon as that happens. Well in Canada at least.

Re: direct injection
The only running issues that I have run into are the one created byt the ecu programming. Like when you want to speed up a little but the trans decides that it wants a lower gear. There is the whole back off fuel/timing change gears bring back in timing and fuel smoothly thing that just pisses me of...

Re: Getting screwed by WCB
Different up here is Canada. WCB does NOT care if the employee or employer lies. They are legislated to do things and assign benifits based on the doctors information. It doesn't matter if the guy stabbed himself in a hunting accident. If he said it happened at work then they process the claim. I ha...

Re: Some people have no clue, or you get what you pay for.
Was just discussing things like that with my wife. She has a bookkeeping company for contractors. Some of these guys want there stuff done overnight so they know were they are at and they get a little pushy with it. I just told my wife that is called rush service and it costs extra. If you are doing...

Getting screwed by WCB
Man I just hate getting screwed over by WCB. This is the second time in ten yrs that an employee has filed a bogus claim for getting injured on the job. The first time the guy said his grinder caught and hit him in the ribs. We later found out that on the weekend before he had rolled his quad over o...
