Leaf spring rear suspension experts
Been wondering this, if I would change the rear lowering block to a 1.5” on left rear and a 2” on right rear will it change the rear roll center? If so will it move roll center closer to the short block or taller block ? By the way are blocks are on top of springs and rear sits on them, so short blo...

Re: Pontiac valley pan
No, not an EGR intake. Some aftermarket VPs are just a flat sheet of alum, with NO baffling for the PCV valve, which fits in the VP. If you use one of these, expect heavy oil consumption. 350 Pontiac undersized harmonic balancer
I just finished a Pontiac 350 build and crankshaft is aftermarket. The crank snout diameter measuring 1.3710” the balancer bore is 1.3745. Does any one make a undersized balancer for Pontiac, or what have any of you guys done in past to resolve an issue like this. Thanks for everyone’s time.

Re: SBC mechanical fuel pump oil seal issues
I have used two dart SBC's and on both the drain back from the fuel pump barely broke through into the crankcase. We had to get the grinder out and open it up. Next time you have the engine torn down you may want to check that. That could definitely prevent proper oil drainback. Paul X2 most if not...

Re: SBC mechanical fuel pump oil seal issues
I am not up on what seals this pump uses but a couple of generic things come to mind. 1:Since it's not blowing out the V covers it is likely not a pressure issue. If running alky is the seal material compatible? Same question about the diaphragm. 2: Is it is creating a real big mess that could caus...
