We ended up going with a set of BB3 big brodies and we have had good service out of them BB3s. (SO FAR) LOL.

We have a 598 with a set of BB3 big brodie heads with 14-5-1 compression and a 1250 dominator. We are running VP C23 fuel with a 7AL3 ignition.
I noticed that the hotter the ngk plug we run the numbers got better in the 1/8 mile.
Anyone have any experience with this combo?

8 1/2 lbs is way too much pressure. Rather than running out of fuel, you may be pouring in too much fuel. I went thru the valves and none of them was off ,but i snugged them up a hair.
We warmed it up and all was well.
We are going to the track this weekend and see if we done any good.
I will post the results Saturday morning.

The accelerator pump wont have anything to do with fuel pressure. The bowl is vented so the fuel in there is not under pressure.
