i tend to think the lower rpm an the torque moves ur car better,smaller cubic engines 302,327,etc etc seems to like being shifted at higher rpm,s? my heavy shoebox55 like the big cube small blks 383,406 i have run both..

think i gonna install a isky 304 mega hydraulic forthe street,dont need adjusting liters,install an forget it ....save money also...

i had 2.05 valves inna set of ported afr,220,s was told by afr to put in 2.08,,i gained nothing...

2.08 2.05 absolutely no diff none,i had 2.05 afr said 2,08,so i did no change in mph or et or 60ft,,i took my 220,s down to ken wen he was alive ,he ported 1 intake an ex,he said go home an do the rest like this....i did an picked up 4 tenths pre eliminator hds jus like urs...over cast bowtie off ro...

i found a ole edelbrock proram11 from ole days 2 660,s,swap meet... pickedup half a second,over 850 an ported off road bow tie intake from the 80,s,,yeah buddy,i aint horsen around now where did big joe go?

Simple if u have excessive piston to valve clearance over .125 u need more cam.........get as close to minimum clearance as u can around 90,also try keep advancing cam more... keep checking piston to valve

why would anyone put or use steel heads,unless ur class require it
