I still have the best luck with fully coated DLC valves in extreme conditions.

The best advice is to discuss with your valve supplier as they see 100X the volume
then we do in individual shops.

The Taylor unit mounts on top of the spindle,
I do mostly canted valve heads and need to indicate off of the deck.

I made something myself,, I'll post a photo when I can.

Curtis, I made my own out of a 1" piece of 3.5" ex tube, cut a section out so the diameter was correct and welded a couple of nuts so it would clamp onto the spindle, then welded a short piece of steel to the side so the dial could attach to it. took about 45 min to make, works like a bou...

SERDI 100 dial indicator holder

Looking for the dial indicator holder that goes on the spindle of a Serdi 100 for tracking seat depth.

Like the one pictured, .. .. .. Serdi didn't have any

Thanks for all of the help guys, ... I'm well aware of the development history of the Ford heads, ..
building something custom and need to move the valves around and just wondered what the
pierce points for the valves are,

all the CAD files I have here is moved stuff

Bret what's wrong with the C460?, ... I know it doesn't have any side cant, .. but still a good head, ..
of course there's the E460 pro stock head, ..

VERY bad idea, ... it'll kill the seat, ...

as stated the seat should match or be slightly inside the valve face, ...
but never larger, ...

And these were placed in the same areas of the port floor that you've seen gains with other heads? I've been told they need to be located upstream of the short side turn. this would make much more sense to me as this would effectively change the radius of the short turn that the main airstream woul...
