I am convinced that Ford had one engineer that made himself important by changing the bellhousing pattern every year. I would bet there are 15 different patterns for all the V-8’s. The 5 bolt was 62 to 64 1/2, 221, 260, 289”. 3/8” bolts and 3/8” dowels

I am looking for the bolt and dowel locations for a 1965, 5 bolt 289. I have to make an adaptor to bolt on to the dyno bellhousing. I can mount the block in the cnc machine and pick up the locations but it would be better to have the real numbers. This older stuff is not very accurate. Thanks, Kaase

I just got the news that Engine Masters has been dropped from the Motor Trend Group event list.

I would most are working on EMC this weekend. I am mostly done. Which means I can’t get it any better. I am disappointed with the peak power and TQ but these are the most restricted rules in all the years I’ve competed.

Won’t need much testing this year. No extra parts and nothing to try. Just get the jets right and the timing

Finished pistons/ compression today and got the shortblock together. A little headwork and should be ready end of this week.

Honed my O So Thin Chevy block tonight. Even at .010 over Std, it is scary thin between 3 cylinders. I am 2 weeks away, have almost all the parts but have to work during the day just like everybody else. Anyone else running?
