The only thing they did to my heads in 2016 was cc intake and exhaust runner and combustion chamber and measure the valve diameter and checked the casting number.

I have never bought anything but I’ve seen a lot Jesel keyway lifter and they can be rebuilt.

On the issue on the pushrod thickness and diameter has anyone ever seen any report or dyno results that a .135 wall pushrod over .080 wall pushrod will net an increase in hp/torque are even gains in rpm are does it just help stabilize the drive train.Just asking because I have not seen any real worl...

Check the fit of your intake with no gasket and see if there are gaps while you have it off it may need to be surfaced.

Check the mustangtec sight you have a replacement 289/302 HIPO aftermarket head from ford 1970 casting date just like a replacement Cj holley carburetor that you could buy if you lost your original.

These are the service replacement hp heads for the 289/302 with the 1970 date code that they were cast.

Vortecpro do you race stock eliminator if so I was wondering how a bbc 396/427 chevy camaro can run in the high 9’s at 3400# plus with a head that is suppose to be stock with such low flow number compared to a 351 cleveland.The heads would have to be ported out to max and covered up to run over 135....
