Re: BBC rear main leak

I know I made a couple of mistakes about main seal leaks that I thought were leaks twice and and after a couple of replacement it turned out to be main oil gallery plugs leaking and dropping right down on the area of the seal.

Re: If you own an engine dyno

If you not using it why not just dump the water and figure it out later, better than letting it freeze

Re: Intake Plenum

The way you can possibly get around that spacer rule is to get yourself a couple of those 1/4 inch gaskets and glue them together.https://teamc.com/images/F145485905.jpg

Chassis dyno/engine dyno torque

Does anyone know if engine torque applied to a chassis dyno would be the same on a engine dyno. The reason I ask is I had a engine that made within 2 ft# on the engine that it made on the chassis dyno so is that real.

Re: Bearing clearances: Tight vs. Loose??

Wow .0015 that’s tight that only gives about .00075 radial running clearance not a lot room for oil to flow through and you always have to run 0w10 oil.
