If you want to get deeper down the rabbit hole, how about the pushrod 4 valve Arao SBC head that never really got anywhere either. I also have a ducati, I would think desmo has alot less parasitic loss then conventional valve spring set up

I have a friend that bought his 4 valve SBC heads, Garbage is too kind for this product..Especially the extra pushrod for exhaust valve actuation.

Pump E85 varies all over the place for ethanol content. I have seen 33 to 66 percent ethanol. Never saw 85 percent

I was referring to the fact that in a previous build they used a Yates intake which has a 4.38 bore center,the FR 9 is much closer to the 6.2

FYI, The FR9 has a 4.50 bore center..

In the combustion chamber pic, is the spark plug closest to the exhaust valve the "lower" one?

Where do you get the adapters to use a carb intake? Really great engine. Now if you can figure out a way to keep the variable valve timing with a carb!

I have the same problem with an LM-2, have a old LM -1 no problem ever, I think their new stuff is junk. Both units use bosch sensors

I always thought of EGR as a way to make a engine "chemically" smaller, inert gas takes the place of oxygen so less fuel is needed
