Re: mopar roller rockers

You will not need anything exotic for a mild 440 (450-500hp). Order a cam two steps larger than stock ( <.500 lift, 230-240@.050) and some aluminum heades and your are there with a Holley 750/dual plane manifold setup. 1-7/8" primary headers and straight through mufflers will improve mid range ...

FB_IMG_1690945863519.jpg FB_IMG_1695615466400.jpg I have had Doug's cutouts on my street/strip car for 3 years with no issues. My purpose for having them was to bupass the 2.25" resto system when spraying some nitrous. I have made many, many pulls on the chassis dyno hot, cold, n/a, spraying, ...

511 cube low deck mopar, 2.00ish installed height. Jones roller 275/282@.050, .740ish net lift with a 1.7 ratio rocker. Made 750@7100 on race gas with a Quickfuel 4150 1050cfm annular carburetor. It really likes a 250 shot of nitrous. If you decide to part with those springs let me know. They used t...

While it's not a VW, Oregon Cam Grinders found me a 2-3/4-7 swap big block mopar billet roller cam core. I'd give Ken a call.

Re: Advantages of beryllium copper valve spring seats?

Thanks for the replies. I guess one of the reasons that this particular part interested me is that I can't seem to order them. The other thing is I can't seem to get a price. My curiosity came about because they had them in the catalog and nobody uses them that I know. I am using lots of good parts ...

Re: Advantages of beryllium copper valve spring seats?

Now that is an answer I can work with. Thank you! I had not considered that at all. All along I assumed the cylinder head casting would be cooler than the springs.

Advantages of beryllium copper valve spring seats?

Hello, I am working on a 511" low deck Chrysler endurance engine and was wondering if any of you fellow gear heads were familiar with BeCu valve spring seats (NOT valve seat inserts...valve spring seats). From my research I have found that they seem to be good for pulling heat out of the valve ...
