Re: Note on Weber carbs by Mr. Passini

OP Caprimaniac,
What model DCOEs or other ?
When I was learning to fool with DCOEs an older Italian gent told me to always use the spring loaded rubber mounts and gaskets because of vibrations putting foam in the fuel
It’s 40 years later but I’m sure it still applies.

I’d call them
I also found what looks to be a valid pay number in marine parts Europe
After buying weird parts for 50 years I’m skeptical
about all parts managers and techs altruism, including me!

Re: Are thin piston rings worth horsepower?

The oil would not take that and the factory finally changed the interval in the Comand system to 15k. Also this week I inspected 2 Audi 4.0 Twin turbos Which smoked the turbo Bearings and wa...

Re: Pontiac engine swap

I had some family friends who worked for PMD and they said it was designed to be built as cheaply as possible because GM wanted to standardize on one 8 cylinder engine throughout the company . Remember this was just after they had to pay off a class action settlement for putting SBC engines in'77 De...
