Re: Pourable, Self-Leveling Filler

Thanks Chris. Yes I had looked at several brands and types of epoxy and their performance specs. My hope was to find one or more that members here had used and could recommend (like KnightEngines did....many thanks, I'll look that one up). Total Boat is one brand that I've used and liked. Be sure t...

Re: Pourable, Self-Leveling Filler

Sounds like you need some sort of 2 part epoxy. Most of them are similar. I have used several different brands, found they all performed about the same. Google and read some reviews. All sorts of different flavors of epoxy available. Pourable, self leveling etc. Make sure you get one that doesn't ne...

ER-70S-2 is used for mild steel applications. So in all likelihood the parent metal of what you would be working on would be stronger. Whether it would work IDK. Leave that to the metallurgy guys here.

Re: DCOE Tuning treatise

Des Hammill has a good book on DCOE Webers and Dellortos sides as well. It is an excellent book, better than some of the other stuff out there. https://www.google.com/search?q=How+To+Build+and+Power+Tune+Weber+and+Dellorto+DCOE%2C+DCO%2FSP+and+DHLA+Carburettors&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=f...

Re: Discussion about E85

If you want to go E85 there are only 2 people in the US I trust. Pick one of those 2 and listen to them and only them and it's been amazing for me. There is literally SO MUCH BS on the internet of E85 haters its ridiculous. I say go ahead and keep hating, more for me. Care to share who the two are?

Re: Port Energy Anomoly?

Not saying DV did this but chassis dynos are extremely easy to manipulate. Years ago back when the Fox body Mustangs were all the rage and chassis dynos were relatively "new" there was a guy in New Jersey who had one in his Shop. He was in the Mustang magazines all the time. His business w...

Re: Emulsion tube quest

Have you verified (with gauge while driving or dyno) fuel pressure is no more than 3.5 to absolute max of 4 psi? Could be as simple as that.

Re: Emulsion tube quest

IMO just changing the emulsion tube isn't going to solve your issues. Going from the richest (in terms of DCOE/DCO) emulsion tube to the leanest makes no sense to me. Your chokes are way too large, you would be better off with a 42 or 44 mm choke. 42 would be much better if you use it on the street....

Re: Resonator placement

Drone is not caused by baffles in the muffler. Drone is caused when the sound at a specific frequency (engine running speed) excites, vibrates (resonates) the underbody floor pan. Amplified by dual exhaust with same pipe length and muffler position. Especially when the exhaust exits under body. Lack...

Re: Another reason not to buy Speedmaster shit

The problem is if you send something to China, they will copy it. Looks like Procrap forgot to mention that to the factory in China. You know your “Performance” company is shit when you have to change your name to fool the retards. Guy in the video didn't send anything to China. His product is made...

Re: Mystery sludge

Question for you guys, so assuming this happens with most "performance" type oils, what is the proper maintenance type thing to do occasionally? Drop the pan and clean the sludge on a somewhat regular basis?

Re: Datsun R 16 head porting advice?

....on the upside tho, apparently Rebello in California is getting 180 - 185+ hp from these engines at 6500-6800 rpm, so....there is that. A 150 HP engine on Rebello's dyno would show 200+ HP . You can't believe anything they state as to HP. It's all marketing. They were claiming an L6 engine combo...
