Re: Blaster Cabinet Help

Eastwood stuff IMO is mostly junk. They market a lot to the DIY crowd and most of the stuff they sell is inferior or Chinese. At least that has been my experience doing Restorations for a living. TP Tools in Ohio sells a large line of American made blast cabinets at fair prices. They are pretty good...

Re: What is this?

My guess it looks like a bypass valve to the injectors on a mechanical fuel injection setup. The threaded pipe is not original. There should be another AN fitting in place there.

Re: AFR Enforcer SBC heads

wife died sept 2 causing loss of pass words and many other things. The 5.0 after about 5 pulls and a new chip to cure AFR dips made 325 hp and 355 tq I drove the car after dyno on the way home and it ran very well. Its only a street motor with mild cam and 24 lb injectors. I think the heads are fin...

Re: Indy car engine difference…

Identical engines aside the semi enclosed cockpit and mini fenders on the rear wheels really kill it for me. I miss the old days as a little kid watching it on tape delay. I loved how those cars in the later 70's looked. All the cars were different as well. Compare this to today. Rfb96e923bd8cb9833a...

Re: 200 L6 ford bearings...help

Just a thought. Have you tried the regular auto parts stores? Oreilly's, Napa, Advance, AutoZone, Carquest Federated....etc in your area. I'd be willing to bet that they can source them.

Re: Deck clearance?

Didn't Steve Morris mention in that video something about cutting a trough in the head. To someone who is relatively ignorant like me that sounds like the Singh grooves that many here seemed skeptical about.

And wasn't the OP talking about a NA setup? Are boosted/turbo chambers all that relevant?

JCC could you post a contract that states what you have said?. Or provide me a link? I would like to see that in writing. The only time I have ever heard of anything remotely close to what you are describing is most Humane Society's have a clause that you must spay or neuter the animal. If you don'...

Re: Building an 11 second 70's nostalgic SBC

Best to weight this car.. Its over 3600# (no A/C) It won't get in the 11's with the planned sbc and 3.73's. Mid 12's best with that. If you can get mid 12's out of it at #3800 with 3.73s / 4 speed trans (355 or 383 build) you have done a respectable job. If you will be using a SFT camshaft, yes get...

Re: Who here actually drives an EV/HYBRID?

Perhaps one of you EV experts can answer this. And please understand that I'm asking these questions without an agenda. I don't like the idea of EV's replacing ICE's but I can see where they would be useful in certain situations. One thing I don't see being talked about is the Grid. :?: Specifically...
