Re: So electric may just be a passing fad again

I definitely do not believe electric vehicles are a passing fad. Processes that are more efficient than those currently in use tend to get expanded and improved and as long as they are more efficient in their improved state. these processes tend to stick around and don't become fads. Electric motors...

Re: Plenum fuel injection for reduced IATs?

My thought is the reason that injecting fuel in a plenum instead of an actual port in an EFI application is not going to increase the overall performance of an EFI engine is that on most plenums in EFI applications the air movements in the plenum tend to be confused and uneven. Putting fuel in this ...

Re: Sadly Bruce Crower passed away

Had some great instruction and information passed along to me by Bruce. One of the amazing brilliant brains, thinker, inventor and DO'ER in the sport and industry. They only build a few of these and we just lost another great one! You will be missed. RIP Bruce. :(

Those examples will definitely buff out the inside of the leather on your wallet as you pull out the greenbacks to replace and repair those engines and parts!!

Re: Lobe Separation Angle (LSA)

Of course LSA's will change with changes in durations but what I was trying to get across in my simplified comment was that lots of performance enthusiasts get hung up on talking just duration, max lift and LSA and then throw in a little talk about advancing or retarding the cam. Durations and LSA's...

Re: Lobe Separation Angle (LSA)

A very simplified way to look at and consider the LSA of a camshaft is simply the distance measured in degrees between the centerline of the camshaft intake lobe and the exhaust lobe. Taking a fixed cam with a certain LSA and advancing or retarding the camshaft installed location does not make more ...

Re: I think I'm leaking?

I am by far not a lithium battery pack expert or knowledgable in related charging and cooling systems, but I suspect that some thing is amiss either with the charging system, the battery cooling system or the batteries themselves. I would consult a knowledgeable shop or technician that services thes...

Re: Here is how to do it

EG, the best answer for this so called magic magnet force engine is the fact that if it really did work as supposedly demonstrated and was such a perfect form of power than why after all these years since it was demonstrated in that video has this little gem and its inventors not entered the market ...

Re: AFR Tech Question 2

First the thought to use AFR as a power determiner is somewhat flawed by two major factors. One, Wide band O2 sensors are not that accurate in the first place. You can take 5 new same brand same type Wide band sensors out of the box and run them on the same setup and conditions and you will see mark...

Re: Loss of torque with EFI?

I am curious on this new K&N carburetor injection how does the K&N kit take the 5-8 psi fuel feed system only needed for a carburetor and increase the pressure to feed let's say two 30 lb. fuel injectors at the same time?

Re: Why not?: Flywheel as crank position sensor

For very accurate spark and injector timing on a 90 V-8 engine for an example you need a sensor timing of 60x or 24x for example. These timing reluctors allow breaking down the timing into 90 TDC events on each cylinder into 8 equal degree amounts with 2 missing teeth to provide the location of TDC ...

Re: My BBC progress

Sounds like a case now of serious chassis correction! Power can be a frustrating thing when it comes time to transfer it to the track. You'll figure it out.

Nice job so far, best of luck on the balance.

Berrymans 905 Parts Dip. Let them soak and then wash them off! Use rubber gloves if you want to keep the skin on your hands!!
