Re: Audi s4 5v valve guide r&r
so a 20v 1.8t head landed on my bench Friday evening before closing. all 20 guides had been knocked out before it was brought to me. Re: the art of a valve job
Why would you waste your time doing that. Wouldn’t you think otherwise what is the going rate to cut 16 seats in a pair of subaru ej255 heads on the Newen Charlie? A distinct 4 angle intake seat, and 3 angle exhaust seat with a radius below into the throat. 33mm exhaust valve/36mm intake. no cleani...

Re: Audi s4 5v valve guide r&r
unless the exhaust guides are smoked, leave them alone. the ex. valves are likely sodium filled so stem to guide clearance should be on the loose end regardless.
chances of the intake guides being even remotely worn are slim to none.

Re: Nissan SR20VE circuit race build
Why go with the stroker crank on the turbo? Crank is stock stroke nitto billet, factory cranks are prone to cracking. knight, when you build an engine like this do you sell the customer the billet crank or do you allow them to make their own decision as to what crank they will use? how do you get a...
