The 706 would be a better choice in my opinion(it is the smallest). But only if putting a 2 inch valve in it. Stock from GM they basically have no valve job with the 1.89 valve. Its just a 45 and no bottom or top cut, or at least not much of any and there is not material there to do a good valve job...
