Re: "Major Intensity", a marketing tool

Very eye opening and a perfect explanation Mike. I read an article somewhere a few years
ago that basically used the same method you described (major intensity ) .050 vs .020 for deciding which cam was most aggressive.
Thanks for clearing it up.

Re: Big block road race build 572

If you are traction limited you might want to look at a wider lobe sep cam. Talk to Mike Jones on here or Russ Yoder at Erson Cams either will be able to grind you what you need.

Re: 25 year old wife and mother, needs help

I noticed on the update for her today it said she had a cough reaction and a small twitch to pain. Like they posted it's a baby step but it's a good sign.

Donated, praying for her full recovery. Such a young age to go through such a difficult situation. Wishing all the best for her and her family.

Re: Main bearing clearance

Not sure why it matters about the title but it came from the fact that I asked the pro builders their thoughts on .004 of clearance between the main bearing and the journal of the crank.

Re: Main bearing clearance

Nate,

No they did not cut the caps. It basically needed one cap cut and the hone run through it and he got it back with all of the mains as I listed.

Re: Main bearing clearance

Thanks for the input guys at this point I think we will just put this in a different block and go with our normal .0025 to .003 clearance and do something with this block later on. Appreciate the responses.
