Re: Elgin valves for a solid roller application?

I'd use them as long as it wasn't an endurance application. I keep your spring pressures under 600 pounds.

Re: AFR Enforcer SBC heads

EYE CANDY the only purpose I see for them is to impress people at car shows. To show off the AFR bling when the owner opens the hood and tells yea she's got over 600 HP 👍. It will port up nicely but you got capabilities there are a lot nicer castings out there for a more economical price

George May have been having a memory lapse but these are quite a few years old. I may still yet go different direction but the setup was so cheap I co...

If you really want the power band to be up that high you will want to cam it way up. The Victor Ram manifold really likes to rev up, if you really want it to work. And go fast(er) by that. F Bird long time no hear from you. :-) I'm looking at about a 296 304 long duration I just got offered up a ma...

Re: SBC Tunnel Ram

If you select the cam timing based on the TR and spend the money on carbs with someone who knows what they are doing (@MarkWhitener) the TR will out perform everything. Leaning toward 660's with metering blocks w/4 corner bleeds. Cam solid roller 264\268 @.050 109+4, considering a little more aggre...
