Re: Engine Tuning - In Cylinder Pressure
I am also wondering if a direct injection spark ingnition engine would have much more consistent combustion cycling? Generally speaking, yes. Anything that makes any aspect of the cylinder filling, fuellng, mixing, swirling, squishing, tumbling, sparking, exhausting processes etc. more repeatable f...

Re: Engine Tuning - In Cylinder Pressure
Any data TFX receives from customers is automatically regarded as confidential, so I am limited to what I can post, basically limited to data from deceased customers and/or engines that are now changed a LOT from the way they were when we received data. Unless otherwise indicated, posted data is fo...

Nothing so far, but I’m still hoping to get something soon. Glad I haven’t started my 14 day trial yet...

Re: Assistance needed with TorqueMaster input (calling DV)
Thanks Stan. Non-intuitive, but I can see that is how it works now... Regards, Damon P.S. I tried sending a few PMs to DV, but they appear to be stuck in Outbox Purgatory. Is that a "feature" of this board? Sorry for the dumb question, I'm new here... Damon, I believe the way this board wo...

Re: Assistance needed with TorqueMaster input (calling DV)
Thanks again for the input skinny z, and I agree, not very easy to find. I can estimate length of the 220cc AFR assuming constant CSA, but that will be short by a good bit. The manifold I guess I can go make some measurements, but assume the center ports are going to be somewhat shorter than the out...

Re: Assistance needed with TorqueMaster input (calling DV)
Thanks Stan. I understood the previous comment, but I need to manipulate the cam to work with the runner/port length not the other way around, as those pieces are already fixed. Also, since DV used this for a nearly identical build, I figured he could probably give me the figure he used. Regards, Da...

Assistance needed with TorqueMaster input (calling DV)
I'm building a 408w with AFR 220 Competition 58cc heads a Super Victor 351w EFI intake (29245) manifold, and would like to use TorqueMaster to spec out the cam. This seems very similar to the build David Vizard documented a few years ago, except my geometric compression ratio will be 11.5:1, it is p...

Re: TorqueMaster cam program update
Actually looks like that SRH stuff if all Chevy. Anyone have a good number for 2924/29245 (Super Victor 351W) combined with AFR 220 Competition head? Assume it should be pretty close to the DV 408 build from several years ago. This is a 408W as well... Thanks, Damon skinny z wrote: > CMIdiesel47448 ...

Re: TorqueMaster cam program update
I'm getting an error every time I try to download the zip file. Any thoughts?
Also, assuming I can get this resolved, anyone know the "Induction Length" that should be used for a Super Victor EFI (29245) manifold?
Thanks, Damon
