Best way to find out is change it yourself and see what happens. Keep notes so you don't lose track of what size bleed or jet does/did/might do whatever.

In 1973 a pal and I raised our shop rate from $35 to $50 an hour. The local Chev dealer was getting $45 and sending us diagnosis and drivability problems with the new emission controls they couldn't figure out. That $50 in 1973 is $350 in today's money.

Well, I did what tuner said. Cleaned up the secondary valve edges and closed them tight. Closed off the secondary idle mixture screws and ran off the front ones. The engine did not like it. I vote for the Weiand for two reasons. It fits and has a larger exhaust heated area under the plenum.

Yes throw those old intakes away , you have two choices left. Even though a Quadrajet is a great carb , I would use a Holley carb for the bigger primaries throttle response.
