That port goes to exhaust. Never had much luck with silicon or epoxy. Last one i did i used the EGR plate,milled off the mount on the back and plugged the two holes with pipe plugs.

Had 2 sets of Morel to break tie bars , was told i used wrong lifters for application . Used a .700 roller should have used .750. Both cams were under .600 lift.

There is about .080 - .100 difference in bore length in an 880 and older 010 blocks. Using 6 " rods will move pivot point up .300 so there less side pressure at bdc. Lot less skirt wear.

i have a 6.0 that broke a rod and took out #8 sleeve. bored out the remainder of the sleeve to see about repairing. decided not to.I'm in Lebanon Ky u can have if u want it.

check runout on seal area on crank.had one years ago that would leak after short run time.it had about .014 from what i can remember.

I always take pump apart then mount loosely use 4 shims between rotor and pump housing to center it then tighten housing.have seen diy mechanics get it in a bind and burn up pump rather quick.

found a core in July ,but customer passed away in September. Now have a pile of fairly expensive parts waiting to hear from his family.

LIBERTY still has DELPHI lifters in stock. not cheap but still available.
