Hi, Mike, I trust your recommendations, so trying to learn something here. I've been going to beehives whenever possible and have usually found about another 300-500 RPM over same seat pressure cylindrical. Why would we choose the old school cylindrical over the beehive? The GM cam he's running is ...
Like said above, the 6-71 will come in right away, and hold the boost, so you want to run a bigger cam, to make the engine more efficient at the higher RPM's The larger duration will make it less efficient at low RPM's, but because it gets up on boost so quick, you won't notice.
My lifters are Lunati, I think they are the street hydraulic roller lifters. Those are the Morel Street Performance lifters, and are made in Mexico. They're fine with a mild hydr roller profile with moderate spring pressures. I would not run them in any aggressive lobe profiles, or with heavy sprin...
You're welcome. I went out of town for the extended weekend, and when I got in to work yesterday, I was surprised to see Speed-Talk had turned into an "adults Only" site. In 4 days, the spammers had created about 300+ user accounts on Speed-Talk. Most were left inactive, for them to use later....
Curious Mike. Other than Johnson, who carries a US made roller lifter? Something that would take an aggressive profile and/or provide reasonable service life. Nothing spicy. 7k max. Maybe something along the lines of your EHR .360" lobes. There's a few companies making private label HR lifters in t...
How long have they been made in Mexico? This set is about 7-8 years old, I just never used them until now. Are they suited for the cam I have or do I need to go with something else? Their Street Series has always been made in Mexico. That's why they're half the price of the normal Morel HR lifters....

Since no one has any real data on these, I'm going to lock this thread, until someone actually runs them.
It's not a "Game changer" until they're proven to work.
Right now, they're just a sales pitch.
