I suppose your not allowed to use the W shaped or finned intake port floor. Would be a cool way to have fun with the port while complying with the cc rules.

I believe a well engineered engine that is designed for a particular application can have a MAJOR effect on how the engine performs for that application. Even under 450-500hp levels. I really do think you and the goals for this build are the perfect candidate for a do it yourself effort. It wouldn’t be terribly difficult to get 90% of the gain doing it on your own. You’ll never feel the difference driving it around on the street and burning the tread off of the stock type radials.

Did they ever end up using dowels with the steel main cap to the aluminum block in the small block ford offering? Not too long ago they didn’t. That would be a dealbreaker in my opinion, Lifter Valley was pretty thin as well.
