Working on a cylinder head for an Alph Romeo. Wondering if anyone could provide me with the lash setting on both intake and exhaust. Its a 1986 2.0. I was told by the owner, .006int .008exh. Just wondering if this is accurate. Thanks in advanced

Re: BBC factory "772" castings
No they are not peanut ports, the average sized medium oval ports.
and also no, they are std open chamber heads.
So, they will take the larger valves, w/out breaking into water, that works out well. Thanks for the help

Re: Intake Manifold ?????????????
What are your current performance #s? HP, TQ, total rpms range?? I don't like dart intakes, i've said this many times to many people (customers or not) Let us know some specifics, and that will help make a decision. IMO, just based on what i'm guessing you have, i'd go and say you'd be much better o...

Your right, you did say that.... Anyhow.... they'll still work very well. I prefer them over iron eagles. For some, and i mean some applications the EQ vortec heads work well, but thats limited to small track circle track engines that are limited to begin with. Another nice feature of the RHS...

Chambers are nicely designed, and have a great intake port (again, to start with as a foundation). ' My only grief of them is ...

Have you had issues w/the Ferrea stuff? I've used them on so many head builds.
Yes Victor 1 are very highend, as well as DelWest, but whats your application? Are you turning 10Krpms with at or over 1" of lift??
