Re: Custom Camshaft Theories

I see there’s no mention of UDHarold who probably designed a big part of Comp Cams lobes and has a resume equal to or better than Harvey Crane or Ed Iskenderian.
Not to mention all the other well known lobes that he designed after Comp Cams.

Re: BBC roller cams

At the very least put a bigger intake valve in those 781’s. 2.25 would probably work better for what you’re looking for. Also, and this is just my opinion after 22 years of using a solid roller cam on the street, ditch the hyd roller and use a solid roller. I pull the valve covers off once a year to c...

Re: Bucking Off Idle / Low RPM

Just to throw a wrench into this scenario, what about the difference between a dual plane with a divider versus one with no divider ??

Re: Rocker Arms: Steel vs Aluminium

Jesel told me that one major cause of failed aluminum rocker arms is over-torquing the adjuster. They highly recommend using an LSM torque wrench. I bought a brand new set of the Jesel Sportsman Series shaft rockers from Mike Lewis 13-14 years ago for my BBC. Then after I bought them there was a po...

Re: M/E Wagner Dual Flow Adjustable PCV Valve

I've been using one of the Wagner Dual Flow PCV's on my street driven 513 BBC for several years now with a Trick Flow oil seperator, ;https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-k51400850 The directions need to be closely followed to fine tune Wagner unit to match your engine.
