How about a shield for the exhaust crossover, to keep the oil from splashing directly on it? There you go!! You learn something every day! Thankyou, that will definetly be the idea from the factory. Do not confuse Pro-Filer with Pro-Comp or Patriot, Pro-Filer is 100% American made while the others are off shore.

The Pro-Filer Air Wolf 220 would be the ones you should look at, they come CNC ported.

Welding might be worth a try, I have always tried to avoid it, maybe it deserves reconsideration.

Yes it is 6061 to a T61 heat treat, thats what Dart is using.

If you look at the exhaust side of the Billet FE head you can see the shaded areas where it was welded.
