1990 chevy 1500 No Tail lights.

My 90 model chevy 1500 has no tail lights. Did not when I bought it.so never leaves the yard. Has a burnt valve at 301K. Brake pedal hard. Might be from bad vacuum from the valve. But here is where I get lost. Has 2 complete new tail light assemblies. No brake lights. no backup lights, No tail light...

I know nothing about how they balance the crank assembly. But now that I think about it,why balance with the flywheel and balancer on period? Does that mean you would have too buy that brand of each? They look like they know what there doing in my opinion. Who owns 3 new balance machines to learn on...

I noticed they only put in 2 flywheel bolts. Without the other ones how can the balance be right? :shock:

I would put the rings back in and check the gap. Also that piston looks like it was way tight. Diamond is good stuff too. Sorry to see this :(

My 400 sbc is bone stock except for a 252-425 lift comp cam. I think its 206 at 50 deg 110 lobe sep. It runs good for the stock heads part #441-I guess there stock 74 cc. Just for example I will use a 500 hp motor at 6000 rpm. Any Hp there to be gained using floater pins or pressed?

My sand blaster tank is a cheapo and it would take to long. There is a guy down the road from me that has a serious blaster. Might check out.
