Re: Sunnen "Sidewinder" honing mandrel driver

I really do not remember the Sunnen number for it and it lived forever in a small tool box in it's original plastic bag on a shelf. The Sunnen box long time in the landfill. It is the the drill press or hand dr...

Re: Oval Track Dizzy… Locked Advance or Not?

Where the "unlocked' distributor really shines is when things go wrong!1 Like recovering from an engine stall after a spin or when two cars get together to end in a stop and the motor dies. Moments like this make having a dizzy with and advance curve that allow easy starting even when the car i...

Re: Notice To Veterans

They will not cease in their efforts till all American citizens are hobbled and live in service to the anointed few. Wanna wager a guess as to who those "anointed ones" really are? What stops them from having their way? Believe it or not but a huge deterrent to their agenda is the beliefs ...

Re: SB Chevy parts for sale

Joe, When the opportunity presents itself, can you shoot me a PM with pricing and availability of SBC main caps you have for sale. I am particularly interested in "pre-owned/installed" versions as these builds I have upcoming are up against some serious time/money budgets. I am not interes...

Re: Wanted bhj bloc tru

I am now looking for one too! Unfortunate circumstances involving my loaning to a friend who had issues with the the IRS. No good luck trying to get it back. If there is one around that someone wants to sell off, I am looking for a SBC model.
Thanks!

Re: EFI with "Hilborn look"

Have you even considered a 'modern day" mechanical injection set up for this project. On my old "Kern Kruiser" small block flat bottom river runner, I used Hilborn sprint injector with a set up I gleaned from Kinsler. "Poppet" style primer set up to get it lit and a two stag...

Re: DWI IS EXPENSIVE.................

In Colorado, my buddy the local Sheriff tells me that the average DUI costs the convicted well over $11,000.00 not including lost wages and incidental expenses. That is one expensive situation for sure!

I like the one I did! It turned the last letter of Jones into a dollar sign and had the phrase "Best money you will ever spend on a camshaft!" written Below the name

Re: Battery Recommendation

Odyssey battery! Well suited for this kind of application and not subject to the pitfalls of a spiral cell configuration. While Optimas and the like are well liked by many consumers, the high end/high output alternator people are not that fond of them. Most will not warranty an alternator failure wh...

Sad and frustrating! Things are so bad at this point that outwardly it would appear that extended time in something like jail would be a good thing! At least he would not freeze to death!

Re: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS

Bribe her first with chocolate before you ask any questions. If that don't work then try diamonds. If that still doesn't do the trick, then bribe the family you members you want answering your questions with diamonds. The last one works everytime!
