Re: Are these cams opposite?
Hi mate, I’m no expert, I’ve been wasting a lot of time on this stuff. This place is the best but Dohc, sohc, is very limited. I would suggest a pm to Cam King and give him time to reply. Very busy guy. From what you’ve posted the inlet grind looks a bit bigger but with some softness. It may work fo...

Re: EJ25 broken ring land
Yep like Tony said glass pistons and the are the for the reason mekilljoydammit said. When I worked at MMAL we went from 3.5 V6 with an ACL piston. To a 3.8 V6 with a Japanese piston to meet euro3 emissions. MMAL intended to build the 3.8 locally and consulted ACL about piston production and there r...

Re: In Memory of Don Terrill
Sad new. I took a jump to a very small specialty shop 12 years ago. Then had to figure out how to pull it off, thanks to Don and his audio discs his books and the great people on the forum I made a fair job of it. I'm still learning and the secrets aren't so secret when you talk with like minded peo...

Re: Offenhauser 4 cyl
The Hart 415T F1 engine from the 1980's, was a mono block too. I read somewhere the seats were the hard bit on that engine. there are some pics on the net of it.
Brian Hart did some amazing stuff for a small engine firm.

Re: Cylinder head and porting books???
Yeah the books are good but also you might want to try the speed talk 10 pack air flow cd discs. I listen to them in the car on the way to and from work, so much better than talk back. When I'm struggling I re-listen to them there is always something I missed or didn't think about before until I get...
