Find a gasket manufacturer and ask them for flexible graphite sheet.
Custom one off's will obviously cost more but if you're prepared to by a few you can amortise the cost, otherwise buy a piece, make a tool and stamp them yourself as In-Tech suggested.

Re: Engine Thermostat Rating
At this stage of the game, with a wide open engine bay, modifying my wiring harness and changing up temperature function (both power and control) is centre stage. With an electric pump and fans I’ll be using one of these with my new engine. Might be worth some consideration. https://daviescraig.com...

Re: should I prime oil pump car sitting 2-3 years
If you can prime it, you should.
Get some pressure, quarter turn manually, get everything oiled then a quick start and straight to 1500/2000 to splash oil around.
Then, let it eat.

The fuel wants to move away from the power valve under heavy acceleration when fitted to the secondary metering block.
If you are relying on it for enrichment under power and no fuel is there, it will go lean.
Think about why people fit main jet extensions on the secondaries, same principle.

The engine bay is huge. The only clearance issue is valve cover to brake booster (and aircon) if you have it fitted for anything large.
These things will swallow a BBC with not much more than engine mounts, plenty of room for pipes too.

Re: Engine Cooling: Water Pump Flow Data
Have you considered just using the EWP without the mech pump, at least to test? I fitted the EWP150 to my dirty old 355 cube Holdenv8 a few weeks ago and deleted mech pump (OEM pump from a VT5.0l and has a nice cast impeller) and initial testing is encouraging. No controller, kept the thermostat, pu...

Very nice, well done mate!
What do you think it would do with max effort VN style heads?
Is there anyone left that's crazy enough to take this record from you?
Wheres the video of the best pull when it was on the pump?

I would take a look at the Haltech VMS. Essentially an elite 2500 ECU without injector drivers.
