Re: Offshore head and intake ID
That should be an rpm brand crank. All cast ones I have seen had HM cast in them

Re: Vortec head crack
If they have been started up and ran for 10 minutes there is about a 75% chance they are cracked.

Re: No more King XP bearings
Clevite has there problems also. You spend lot of time and effort to get housings near perfect then beat up on the crank guy for perfection and end up with a multi million dollar company selling junk!!

Re: OEM 351w block and stud girdle?
The factory bolts are probably as good as the block. I do usually put arp bolts or studs in with anything over a basic stock build. The main girdle just makes pan and pick up tube a pain to install. I have run a bunch of 302/351’s with a girdle but I don’t anymore. Didn’t see a benefit.

Re: Valve seat recession on alum heads w big springs?
What head casting? I’ve got some c302/b 2 different set that were run with some pretty aggressive springs. They look good. Most of those heads were meant to be ported and ran hard.

Kwik way 092
My 092 is giving me some issues. The stroke speed seems to be stuck at one setting. Doesn’t matter where the knob is adjusted to. I’ve checked the oiler works as designed. If any one can help please let me know. Thanks

Contact at comp cams
Is anybody still alive at comp? I’ve got a serial number on a cam I need info for. Can’t really make out lobe numbers on it. Since Tim Cole left it’s been kinda hit and miss for me up there. Thanks.

Re: Opinions needed on an engine failure
In my opinion it shouldn't take 12 hours to break in an engine. If rings aren't seated within an hour (or less) something is bad wrong.

Thanks. I’m wanting to step up to at least a bore/mill combo and just had them in the mix.

Do any of you guys have any feedback on Comec Equipment? The ACF200/ACF200 CNC specifically. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
