If the port was raised 2" on the floor and 2" at the roof. That's not stock port location. Might be stock port location size. Most of the ports I work with that say XXX off deck make no mention of as-cast port location. When left where it was manufactured at the roof but, raising the floor changes ...

Would it have changed the outcome of the contest? You have little clue as to that challenge so, why do you act superior like you do? All the actual scores posted were not correct and they should be or, don't post anything. The outcome WOULD have changed had ALL the contest regulations been enforced...

Joe, Jesel guy said a while back they 'may' be able to. Am really looking for someone who has actually done it and what was involved to get the geometry correct... Arthur, I would only use T&D or Jesel, not an engine shop as they don't build their own Jesels or T&D's. I doing this deal for a buddy ...

Why is the exhaust valve lifted less than the intake? Because, in general, low lift flow is more important on the exhaust side. In general, high lift flow is more important on the intake side. Why is the exhaust valve lifted less than the intake? I can't speak to why, but a number of mid range and better software programs I've used all show a fairly flat optimum lift range for the exhaust valve, as opposed to the intake, where diminishing returns continue up to impractical heights. Not sure how floating vs pressed fit effects the pin weight?!?
Any frictional gains would typically only be measured at high rpms.
