These theses at MIT are available to read for free. There are other universities that will allow you to read engineering theses at no charge. If you check out the citations you can drill down and explore topics. However, one large limitation is your budget. Many references have a paywall, like SAE....

Briefly, it appears that a decomposition product of a typical moly additive is both ferromagnetic and has a tan to brown appearance. I just punched a 2010 Camry with a 2.5L engine after driving it for 3K I found out it is using 1 qt every 1000 miles. MFG call for 5w20 I am using 10w30 full synthetic which is expensive I a m thinking of switching to convention 10w30 much cheaper. Any opinions or real world experience. Here ya go:...

Real world feedback from Indiana!

She passed my test. With the re-tune she’ll pull the Jeep up the steepest hills around here on interstate 69 at at about 60 mph vs 55 and slowing prior to tune.

Anyone installed a Snow boost kit on a Sprinter?

My Brother has a Mercedes Sprinter with the OM 642 turbocharged diesel in it. He is using it for towing.

Has anyone here installed a Boost Cooler Stage 2 kit on this particular engine?

I know there are magazine articles on Cummins and various other platforms.

Thanks for any leads.
