I use a Carter 172 mech pump, composite rod...they are so light I dont see how they could lose power. From the spring probably not measurable
Like the reliability of them, one less thing to leave you stranded. They last a long long time. NEver had an eccentric wear out

Having a foot control is way more convenient imo. No need to stop what youre doing and adjust it, just the right foot.

I found they dont work with grinders that already have adjustable speed. (mutabo)

Debating doing a solid flat tappet cam 427/454 as a nice set of heads is falling into my lap Know rollers are much better but dont wanna worry about needle bearings and chinese metal. So Cam King & others....is there a core or hardening process and lifters around that can make it somewhat reliab...

Wow...my 02 1500 is 5500 I think? OP do a 383, or 406...love to see an afr 190 head, reasonable HR cam etc. Youd make tons of torque and everything bolts right on. Speed control cam really miniumize this..Foredom makes a 40 dollar paedal you can use for this.
Blew through the side of a bowl once not using one...caught the side and went crazy on me..wham! Course it was 90 percent done murhpys law.

It does have a very slight random miss...hardly there now was much worse when I bought it (Injectors plugged from sitting) Cats are original sure new ones would be better..no issues with the truck Im jut sondering if ER85 would give me more leeway on mods generally speaking. I assume it burns cleane...

Took the ac off my 67 A body yrs ago I dont see it lasting long with high rpm blasts and always have the window down Will be my new daily here soon. Not too radical, 383 healthy solid roller 6 spd 4.11s, perfect for grocery trips. willbe down the 1/4 before next summer....may take it over to Westech...

See 400 block for over a grand, then these. Small print says orifices may not be in center meaning?? Anyone machine or have real life experience with these? ABything good about them? Whats needed to prep one for use? PCE...before the I hate pro comp stuff posts (no Im not a fan)just want to hear why...
