I am still running an msd but I switched to the pertronix coil they recommend for the digital hp.The msd coil I had failed too.

I have one on a 511 bbc.I kept having problems with an msd 6al2 and replaced it with the digital hp 1.5 years ago.No more problems

I just got to say this.Get rid of the little cam match the cam to the heads at that kind of compression your going to choke that big block for air with less than .700 lift.Big blocks like air.

Something else I forgot to mention this car has a 1050 dominator on it.

I have an 85 that is pretty much done that way.I used a 7530 team g intake with a 750 double pumper and a nitrous plate and the hood still closes with a low pro air cleaner

I run that same comp cam in my corvette with a 355 small block 11.1 motor.I have dart iron eagle 200 cc heads that have been ported and run a team g single plane intake with a 150 shot.The cam works really well for street strip.Also the 3.90 gears should work well with this cam I run 3.73.

Pypes race flow are what I have on a 13.5.1 bbc they are quiet.The race flow is quieter than any of pypes other mufflers

We run a 13 to 1 bbc on e85 from the pump it usually test at 75 % we never have any problems
