Is the original builder or the shop that rebuilt it somewhat local to you ? Might be worth sending the heads to them and having them do them ?

Any symbols or other markings anywhere on it ? How about a picture of it ? Some manufacturers have distinct appearance.

I pretty much consider locks as a consumable item. If they come off an engine they go in the trash. Simply not worth taking the chance.

I am sort of tempted to agree with CA but if you don't feel comfortable with it Eagle has always been very good at matching weights in single rods. If you torque it together and it is still round and on size I doubt that you hurt it Compare it to one of the other rods in the same set.

I am sure you already thought of this but have you looked through their individual stud listings to see if there is something close enough to work ?

Does Milodon have anything ? I have had good luck with their main caps and studs.

I am sure the labor cost will vary depending on where you are located. The one thing I would suggest is making sure that only OEM Ford parts are used. Where are you located ? Might be a good independent shop nearby that can do the job.

The engine is built as a clone of a 66 L79 Nova. The Z28 intake looks similar to the L79 but flows better. Do you have a picture of the part ? I have a complete 2000 engine in my next door unit that might have it on it. I am going to be using the long block for a marine build so I wont need that part.
